Weddings at The Church of the Transfiguration

Church, Chapel or Meadow

The Campus of the Church of the Transfiguration is located in the heart of Evergreen. Many of Evergreen’s treasured historic landmarks, including the bell tower, are still in use by this active congregation. Buildings date back to the 1860’s and many have been restored. Photographers value the graceful and beautiful settings that the property offers, such as the scenic meadow with Bear Creek running through it, rustic cabins, and forested mountain sides.

 Our facilities include our main church building which can accommodate an indoor wedding of up to 250 people. Our historic pipe organ in our sanctuary can add a traditional flare.

 If you are planning an outdoor wedding and/or reception, our large, grassy meadow is convenient to the Denver area while still providing all the charm of a mountain setting.

 We also have a small beautiful chapel for a wedding with up to 25 guests.

Our staff will do everything possible to assure that your wedding is truly a wonderful occasion. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any needs or questions you may have. By providing your contact information to us, we will be able to keep you up to date as needed.

 Our Wedding Guidelines

It is not necessary to be a member of our congregation to be married in our church. All Faiths and denominations are welcome. Our pastors are happy to conduct your wedding and help you with preparations. They do require marriage preparation counseling. If your own pastor will be officiating, please have him/her contact the church office prior to the wedding.
